NYC Mesh Merch

NYC Mesh has a number of Merch items available to both volunteers and members.

We previously used an online store for our merch sales and printing (one of those print on demand services), however we found that production and shipping took a very long time (sometimes up to a month) so we were not pleased with that service.

We have since changed to printing and stocking out own merch ourselves. Lydon has taken the lead on this, and has arranged with a local printing shop, Laura and Melinda NYC down the street from our office which prints our merch for us. We purchase blank T-Shirst etc and then send them in along with our designs to get printed.

If you'd like to contribute designs or be involved with this process, the best option is to reach out to @Lydon on slack or post in the #design channel. We welcome new designs and items that folks want to create.

Costs:

Printing our merch costs money, so we ask that folks who are taking merch items contribute to cover the costs. This allows us to continue printing new items. The suggested costs for our items are below, including the costs required to produce them.

Picking Up Merch (local to NYC):

Merch can be collect at the Mesh Room during our weekly Mesh Night meetup. This meetup is typically weekly on Tuesday nights, starting around 7pm. Details and confirmation that the meetup is happening are posted in the #meetings channel on our slack every week.

You can also reach out in #mesh-room or #general on slack if you'd like to visit at another time to pick up your items. Someone can set them aside for you and you can pick them up anytime Bluestockings is open. Their hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 12pm to 7pm.

Shipping Merch:

For those who live outside of New York City, but would like to purchase NYC Mesh Merch, we can arrange to ship the items to you. We will ask that you cover the cost of shipping (or provide a pre-paid label to us). One of our volunteers will coordinate shipping the items to you.

Due to the difficulties and time required to refund donations and arrange return shipping, merch is not returnable once shipped. If you are not happy, we will try to do what we can, but as we are a small org and are not running a full online store, we have limited resources to devote to this. We appreciate your understanding.
